MCN laps TT with racing legends Rossi and Agostini

MCN Editor Marc Potter has just called in his first brain-frazzled thoughts following his lap of the Isle of Man TT course with MotoGP legends Valentino Rossi and Giacomo Agostini. Potter, riding a 2009 Yamaha R1, was more than a little excited. He babbled: "It was like the fastest B-road ride of my life but then I had to keep reminding myself...

Mr. Potter....

Words cannot possibly express the depth of envy I feel towards your activities today.... Despite all the free access passes, travel round the world, test rides of the latest and greatest machinery and general hob-nobbing around with the bikes and people we all admire so much that you get to do...... Today must have been special.. very special... and you are one lucky mother f*cker!!!! Well done!   :)

So, Marc, how nervous were you?  I would have been terrified -- but would not have missed it for anything!

did anyone watch itv4 last night????

that little maggot steve parrish was talking to a pair of legends like they were toddlers. Fair enough their English isn't absolutely perfect but matt roberts talks to him properly so why was parrish talking like that??? Personally I would have been toooooo star struck to even breathe but given the chance to interview Valentino AND Agostini at the same time I wouldn't be blabbering on like a nursery nurse

ITV4

I saw the interview with Steve Parrish as well and Rossi didnt look too happy at all, he was obviously trying to lie low and conceal his appearance so he could watch the race in peace and then Parrish pops up through the undergrowth with a microphone asking silly questions, like whether he had seen the TT on TV or DVD before!

Pleeeeeeeease!

Parrish asked THE most stupid questions ! VR has said many times he is a big fan of the TT.... Parrish just made himself look dumb as per usual.

Rossi and Ago come all the way over to IOM to watch intense racing and get interrupted by a twat with a microphone, crawling throught undergrowth asking dumbass questions.

They did well in being polite with their answers and not telling him to F*** off!!

What an amazing experience Marc Potter, yer bike didnae look that bad.
