Suzuki GS500 2002

If you're after one don't be put off by poor reviews from the motorcycle media. The reviewers get to ride the very best machinery for free, and as a result don't have anything positive to say about the GS500. I love mine and would take it anywhere.

It's true to say that this bike is essentially 20 years old with one major facelift in that time, but look at it this way, it's a proven and reliable machine. It handles well, even when hanging off, the brakes are adequate though lacking 2up and 90mph is easy, although much more than that is a chore, still, you wanna keep your licence, right?

It's not desirable to a thief, it's cheap to insure and I get 68mpg with spirited riding. What's not to like?
