Longer springs Z1000

I have a 1979 Z1000 which has been modified in many ways.Good bike, but it bottoms out too easily on the exhaust, which sits very low due to differant exhaust system,GSX swing arm and possibly Z600 front forks all fitted to the rebuilt bike.Been advised to put longer front fork springs in.With the wheel raised off the ground, there is an extra 58mm of fork let out, giving me better clearance.Would getting replacement forks say,50mm longer be a good soloution? If so,where from? The rear suspension is already set as high as possible.Cheers for any advice.
