test

Hi arthur, not many replies for you:shock:,I`m to old to know the answer, instructors will teach you how to pass the test but not teach you how to stay alive on the roads today, you might as well go with the flow.

Books

Interesting question - I've scoured the web and found very little detail about what you are actually asked to do on the pursuit based part.

You may want to try and contact BIGMat, who has unfortunately just failed for the 2nd time.

Two books I've come across are 'Learn to Ride' by Robert Davies and 'Motorcycle Roadcraft', which is the Police manual. Certainly the latter does not include specifics about the test but if you can ride according to The System you'd probably be OK. Having said that, as with most exams, a little bit of test technique is usually required to assist the examiner in perceiving you as a competent rider.

Oooops, almost forgot, there's the 'Official DSA guide to riding - the essential skills' - again, I don't think it has anything on test specifics.
