Suzuki GS500 Wiring Question

Hi All,

I have just bought some heated grips for the Suzuki GS500F - they are the roxio ones from Tesco. I know the best way is to wire them into something that is only ignition on so they don't affect the battery when the bike's not in use... thing is... where to find a wire that is ignition on... Does anyone with a GS500 know what I should be looking for or has done anything similar to this...? Any help would be much appreciated!

ignition live

The easiest way is to pick up the live feed to either the rear or front SIDE LIGHT, before the bulb.

The best way is to tap around the fuse box with a multi meter until you find a wire that is only live when the ignition is on.

Don't forget to use a relay or you'll blow fuses.
