I think that you will find Steve McQueen was a big fan of Barbour Jackets. Pictures of him wearing one when he rode ISDT show a slanting breast pocket.Belstaff don't have this and never have.

steve mcqueen was a barbour fan and not belstaff, as for belstaff jackets, theres a new brand name of claymore jackets which are made in england and at half the price and certainly better quality than belstaff any day of the week.

I Personally think that Belstaff Jackets are much better quality than 99% of brands in the motorcycle industry. Belstaff Trialmaster ( or the Belstaff Classic Tourist Trophy ) is very well made wax cotton jacket Water Resistant Jacket. Most Belstaff Jackets come with a slanted breast pocket now. The New Belstaff 2013 Jackets are far better quality and build than any Barbour Jacket.

Yes Mcqueen frequently wore barbour jackets but there are many photos of him doing rallies in a belstaff jacket.
