THOUGHT THEY HANDLED WELL.

JUST DONE 700MILES ON MY NEW FAZER 1000, HAD A K2 1200 BANDIT BEFORE, THOUGHT I WOULD GET A BETTER HANDLING BIKE BUT FOUND IT TO BE VERY VAGUE. FOUNDOUT ITS NOT THE BIKE BUT PROBABLY THE MEZ 4 TYRES. MOST PEOPLE SEEM TO LIKE BTO20 (BUT MUST BE BT 020 NT). ARE THESE THE BEST. BANDIT WENT WELL ON 207s. NEEDS TO HANDLE FAST ROAD. HER INDOORS ON THE BACK, PLUS AS IT AWAYS RAINS NEED TO BE GOOD IN THE WET. MY MATE SAID I SHOULD TRY PILOT ROAD BUT WOULD SOONER PUT A TYRE ON THAT I KNOW WILL SUIT THE BIKE. SO TELL ME WOTS THE BEST TYRE FOR MY FAZER. NICK.

Tyre choice

Yes, BT020s are better than Metzellers. I found handling and cornering much improved after fitting them.

Yes, go for the BT's

I stuck an 020 on the back and and 010 on the front and run 39/35 psi (solo). They are amazing and very well suited to the bike. The MEZ's are horrible. Had a 1200 K2 before my Fazer too. After 16000 miles I would put the Fazer ahead. It's a much more refined bike and the handling is much better. See www.hitenter.co.uk for the MCN suspension settings! Where do you find fast roads, I have watched the one outside my house for ages and it hasn't moved an inch? Cheers Rob G
