Welcome dave,my cbf1000 has two headlight bulbs in both 55w and are H7 with the big flange and two spades,also i thought blue head lights were illegal:unsure: If you want brighter lights some bulb com`s declare as good as 110w from a 55w.:smile

I use Phillips Xenon 55w bulbs. They are the H7 fitting.

The packet claims to be 90% brighter than std. Not sure this is true but they are certainly brighter.

Quite expensive at around £15 each at Halfrauds. Might have to look on the car bulb shelf as the bike bulb shelf only had 40% brighter bulbs when I bought my last one.
