Phase 4 XT500 Supermoto

Thought your readers might be interested in seeing my (Final Edition) XT500 Supermoto. You exhibited my phase 3 model on your stand at the Excel Show in London last year. Bike weighs 110KG wet and produces 50bhp at the rear wheel. There are 16 pre-set ignition advance curves. Deemed to be the most powerful XT500 ever built. Regards Dave Newitt (www.yamaha-xt500.com)

xt 500

simply amazing...I have a 1977 xt but have kept it in original trim..very tempted to do something similar but I imagine costs would be huge...

Hi guys & thanks for the kind comments.

As you'd expect once modified, they ride stunning - just like a modern day bike.

The steering is very sharp & presise, if your a little trigger happy the back wheel kicks out easy
