Suzuki SV650 model history

The Suzuki SV650 and SV650S are easy to overlook, but the fact is that they're cult machines and they changed the face of biking.        Find a Suzuki SV650 for sale Read the Suzuki SV650 review Before the SV came along in 1999, there was very little choice for new riders looking for an easy-to-ride yet sporty and sexy first bike. The SV's sales success woke...

Great machines

I've had my 2000 reg SV650 for just over a year now, I ride it almost every day to work and other than the rectifier failing on me its been rock-solid. When its ready to be replaced I think I'll be checking out the new Gladius, I had a look at one at the NEC show this year and it feels just as nice. Although it would be nice if Suzuki splashed out a little more cash and added a fuel gauge, but then I'd probably miss that little blinking light.

SV

Nice to see something done on the SV. I bought on 08 as my second bike. Very smooth and it's got enough torque to get the job done! :D

I bought a 650 Sport for commuting on in 2007.Suzuki were knocking them out so cheap it was unreal. £1 deposit and 3 years interest free. Love the way it goes, stops and handles. I've also got a Bandit 12 with a mk 2 Sv subframe and seat panels grafted on. When I go into the garage I usually come out on the Sv.
