Hi all,

After not using my bike for 3 weeks it has become very dificult to push. I have checked the tyres and the are correctly inflated so im just fault finding my way through for the momment. Can anyone offer any suggestions to help?

FFS sakes guys how hard is it to make sure both wheels turn freely ? the one that doesn't will have a sticking caliper piston.

Piston sticking in the caliper . Remove pads and and get piston to pop out slightly and twisting it at same time . Clean and lubricate with hydraulic fluid .Use copperslip sparingly where the piston touches the back of the pad .I find a nice large flat tyre lever helps to` exercise` the piston a bit before refitting the pads .Make sure the piston doesn`t come out too far or you will have to bleed the system .

Thanks guys for the help.

Bought a paddock stand and found that all brake callipers seezed up! Have had cleared and the bike now works like a dream. With the new brake pads ill have enough time to wear them in for the good weather im hoping we are due to receive :biggrin:
