One of my Auntie's got to me once ..she had bought me a perfectly ghastly tie for Christmas.

It was a nightmare ..I had to wear it all day ..and somehow retain a smile.

my Dad signed up as soon as he was 18 in 1942....not to save the World,but because like a lot 18 year old lads,he hated is job and wanted an adventure....lucky for me he survived and married my Mum....do I owe him twice.:biggrin:
