14 bus lane fines,£1680.
Hi everyone this is the dummy Chris Ardern who has clocked up all these bus lane pcn's.

I am currently fighting Barnnet council on the 14 bus lane penalties throught the "Parking and Traffic Appeals Service" with a adjudicator who will consider my case and advise the authority on the evidence they and myself have sent in.
I know looking at all the forums post that there are alot of bikers who did not know of the correct bus lanes we could use. I was one of them and now wish i had never voted for Boris Johnson. TFL bus lanes make up a tiny % of London bus lanes and i didn't know some London councils had not signed up to Boris Johnson's scheme.
I ride my Ducati 851 on sunny afternoon's in Kent and Sussex and never ride it at night, in the wet or in London. Yes a bit of a luxury but i work hard as a carpenter. I had a job for 2 months on the other side of London and i live near Beckenham, Kent when i was working in Edgeware on a small project. I drove my car from home everyday to Morden,Surrey to pick up my work mate then around the M25 to Edgeware taking 4 hours and clocking up 140 miles per day. For 1 week my mate was not going with me so i decided to get my bike out and ride it. The weather was about 26-28 deg that week and sunny, perfect for riding. I rememberd that i voted for Boris and thought i can finally use the bus lanes. Trying to ride from one side of London to the other at rush hour and back again i was amazed i was still alive. It's a s*!t fight for your life and this just a commute i did for 4 days. hats off to you who do it everyday.
I have a second day with an adjudicator in June after the first round in March didn't look so good for Barnnet. They were been seen to be doing things under hand and bullyish!
Riding a motorbike is a plessure activity for myself and have been riding for 24 years without ever more than 1 speeding ticket and a little low slide. Riding my bike in the centre of london has put me off for ever riding in london!
I will let you know how i get on with the adjudicator and the decision they give to Barnnet council.
