maxxis v the world

just done a 2nd trackday on these tyres , was a bit damp at first and had a few slides, but as soon as i could see a dry line  forming ,the guys on wets were left standing.
still rate these tyres as probally the best fast road tyre for the money.    but for the track balls out performace,i think racetecs would be a better choice.

NO!

:upset:Hi-the sport touring tyres have little tread to start & the 'sport' have delaminated/started cracking at joint on my 60hp Versys!! Get some Pirelli's! or whatever - you get what you pay for.......

how fast??

Hi-if you ride real slow, they will be OK-otherwise stump up the extra £40 or so for some 'known' tyres-think about it......you may save £30>50 but what if ya slide it down the road...????? you get what ya pay for. I have tried both maxxis sport/tour & sport & will never buy again.....
