Waterproofing a Rev it Jacket

\should have said that the Jacket is a Textile Jacket. It is a top of the range jacket or was a few years ago!
Thanks to those that have replied.

Hi all
I have a rev it jacket and its a few years old now. Its still in good nick but it lost is waterproof'ness, if thats a word, a long time ago.

I would like to try and revive it. Anyone suggest a product I can use as I am planning a trip up to scotland shortly and would prefer to stay dry!

Any suggestions welcome

Thank you

Hi Bloke-in-smelly City,

Not knowing what the material is I'll cover both options.

1. Leather Talk to Tandy you find them on line or through the various retail outlets the are fantastic  for advice, I completely refurbushed by boots for £20 saving hundreds £.

2 Textile various sprays avaiable ie Nev go to any good camping shop and look for products for waterpoofing canvas/tents.

Spays cost more than the traditional methods of water proofing but are much quicker to use - also they don't last as long.

Look after your kit and it will look after your so an annual refurb is alway a  good idea.
