Can anyone tell me which is the best oil that you can get for my k1200gt .It has done just over 6000 miles .the current oil is in my opinion is to thin and does make the engine run rough.thanks

You should use the correct oil recommended for your bike,if you use a thicker oil it could reduce the lubrication of your engine and cause drag on a wet clutch.Fully synthetic oil is like water all the time,semi/synthetic looks thicker but goes thinner,mineral oil looks even thicker than semi/synthetic but also goes thinner.The correct oil for your bike will not make the engine run rough.:smile

I think we've already answered this in the other thread.
The best oil for your bike is the one recommended in the manual. Minor differences in oil will not make the engine 'run rough'.
