Feature packed?

Whilst trying to beat yours/others ride stats, does it detect the sudden deceleration as you plant yourself into a tree/wall/car?  And then automatially send your co-ordinates to the nearest ambulance station?

You could post the logged rides on the internet in a 'community' type thingy, and then egg everyone else on to try and go that nats tadger faster on your favorite routes.  When logging, it could simultaneously beam the data to the filth.

Seriously though - seems like a cool and desirable application.

IPHONE Tracker

EPIC FAIL!!! Can you imagine having an accident (your fault or not) or simply getting stopped by the fun police for having the wrong colour tyres........ and then they find out you've got the iphone tracker up and running :( Doh!! You know how they are with people using onboard cameras to record their journey's and .... a'hem 'fun'. Well now we can give them exact times, speeds, places, with of course the drawback that you don't have imagery to demonstrate that you were overtaking, for example.

How long before the Police make fitting theses devices compulsory so they can use them as evidence against  us? I am sure they will also want GPS tracking compulsory too along with the ability to electronically override the bikes ECU.

Does the iPhone need to be fixed to a solid mount in order to accuractely record acceleration/deceleration?
