Goading??

I know the biker shouldn't of been speeding etc..... But, why didn't the police pull him over earlier when he hit 90-100mph this would of stopped the biker hitting 140mph in the first place and surely would of been safer to the general public. I'm not defending the guy, I'm really not but the police rider knew that the longer and closer he followed him the quicker he would go. If stopping speeders really is about safety then the police should of stopped him much sooner thus making the road safer.

fivebyfive daily mail reader

@fivebyfive -  you complain the 'Daily Mail' quality of responses then add with your own -  I wrote "they must think we are all fucking idiots" and made a statement of fact. Growth in revenue gathered from trafiic policing has grown exponentially - accident stats have hardly changed. in order to sound less like a Daily Mail reader, make sure your next asserion has a factual basis & reference. I never had any pretence about bikers being more intelligent. Your asenine groundless response vindicates my point.

ARRYARSE aka mr stupid

you say you know of  a bike hitting a car trapping young children.... all though that is bad, who was to blame???
have you ever heard of real crime?
where old people cannot leave their houses at night because they are scared of attack? where women get dragged in to waste land and raped? where gangs of scum roam the streets looking for their next victim?

you are a complete idiot... policing should only be about keeping people safe and making them feel safe. not buying a new bike to chase law abiding motorists, even if they go too fast at times.... get the real criminals... i would pay extra tax to rid the streets of this scum.. but whilst the police force squanders its money on easy targets we have no chance in this country...

if you speed , get home safely, and have hurt no one where is the crime???
if that  person does hurt someone that's another story and they should be prosecuted fully..

while people like you are about, supporting this corrupt money  sucking policing we have no chance.

hope you never get burgled its a weeks wait these days before you see a copper... too busy getting revenue on the roads

entrapment

Why did the police rider keep following this biker? I suspect the officer knew that eventually the biker would feel comfortable that the hayabusa behind him was just a normal fellow biker simply out for a ride with a bit of speed where safe. Or maybe the biker felt intimidated by the unmarked following bike and wanted to get away. Either way this behaviour by the police is cynical underhand entrapment, I guess that expensive suzuki and the rider need paying for. I hate them nowadays, maybe someone should keep a data base of these nuisance so called law enforcement agents and expose them for what they really are ie. revenue collectors to fund the jobs of the boys.

blame?

the biker and his excessive speed!

chase law abiding citizens? you aren't suggesting the rider in the video is law abiding are you??????

isn't stopping someone from riding like a twat 'keeping him safe' isn't it keeping other road users safe!

how does a copper know if a speeding motorist is going to get home safely should he wait to see if someone gets hurt before he takes any action?????

roads policing units don't investigate burglaries or rapes you imbecile

you do post so much rubbish it would be funny if i didn't think you actualy believe what you post

i hope you are never injured on the road as of course you will insist no one dials 999 you wouldn't want some copper turning up to help you, you wouldn't want some copper to have to tell your family you are dead just let them read it in the obitury in the local rag eh?

so stop spouting such rubbish and at least have a go at putting together a reasonable arguement.

arryarse

you are a complete and utter idiot, you say (roads policing units don't investigate burglaries or rapes you imbecile).. we all know that you prick, but the police force decides how much each department gets.. and by the looks of it the road policing as you put it, are getting too much money.... flash sports cars, sports bikes, all just in case someone speeds, or maybe has a small number plate, grow up... REAL CRIME is going on everywhere NOW.... and the majority of all police funding should be put there... i could not give a shit about speeders as long as they hurt no one, but robbers, thieves and rapists  i have big problem with... now jump on your cg125 with a big bore kit, and go on patrol constable arryarse

simplistic view

police budgets are set by 'relative need' so if any force were to reduce their roads policing unit their budget would be reduced.

as i said before it is riders like this and probably like you that give the police justification to spend on roads policing.

you've only got to look at the cat and fiddle all their actions were brought about by the high casualty rate with rider error being the prominent cause.

you keep believing little man and they will keep trying to stop it. don't spoil it for the rest of us put the restrictor back on your piaggio.
