Any tips for EU breakdown cover....?

Anyone got any recommendations for european breakdown insurance? Heard some horror stories so anyone that should be avoided also welcomed. Thinking about not bothering with cover at all cos we're taking two bikes so not like we'll be stranded in the middle of nowhere.

Cover

If you have Carole Nash insurance the breakdown cover included is great. It saved me in France last year when the chain snapped and smashed into the crankcase. The cover got me rescued from the roadside, returned to my hotel overnight. The bike and I were then taken to the ferry (which Carole Nash paid for). When we got back to the UK another truck was waiting to take the bike and I to my Honda dealer. The driver then gave me a lift home ! I am not sure if you can get the same cover without having insurance with Carole Nash but If you can I would recmmend it. Have a good trip.

European breakdown cover

Hi, Guys, I have found an annual breakdown policy which covers my 16 year old bike, in the Uk and for 90 days in europe for £60! It is a little bit limited but does include repatriation to the uk as a last resort. www.drive24-7.com/
