As for antihistamines, don't bother with that over priced crap. You may get better relief from prescription stuff - £8 for a months supply.

My choice given a nasal spray on its own isn't working properly would be between desloratadine and fexofenadine 180mg (they do a 120mg which is good for the sniffles, not for full blown swollen eye "I HATE SUMMER" malarkey).

EDIT: oh and check the dose on your nasal spray. I thought most of them were twice daily.

Make sure you get local honey though. The theory seems to be immunity to your local pollen dust, so it's no good going to Tesco for it. Try the British Beekepers website if you don't see a sign out locally.
