Lloyd's Avenue/Fenchurch street London

Work colleague just seen two guys on push bike spotting for bikes. If you park there then watch out (bikes get stolen from there quite a lot including my beloved)

London is not the place for nice bikes, I have been stung by these scum bags who then followed me home and came for my replacement!!! :upset: Don't want any other riders to go through the same thing!!

do they steal them, as in what is the best defence?  Alarm/immobilizer, chain, chain to something?  Well usually you don't have the luxury of chaining to something.

Most of the time I think they just either lift it into a van.

So alarms etc dont help! Personally I chain mine all the time, which means I cant really do anything with the bike for fear of it being nicked.

Which suks a lot cos now I'm ultra paranoid (wake up in a cold sweat after a nightmare about bike theives breaking into my house)
+ I get heart palpatations when I go back to the parking spot and see it not there... then realise that I parked it at the opposite end. It's really bad....
