I agree!

Yeh! I have to admit that the pipes perhaps could have looked better. Think even KTM kinda thought that too (They left Full side shots out the brochure) But then again the Whole Bike looks Out the ordinary.(AS heard from everyone I've spoken to). Think you may be looking to put a Diamond Necklace on a Cow! Live with it! You've bought a cracking machine. Don't think anyone cried because. The TERMINONIS didn't improve the looks of the DUCATI 916/748

Akra's

Has anyone tried to cut down the Akra's yet? I hear that there is a full-system on the way...wonder if it will fit/look any different. I was going to buy the SilMotor pipes but saw that they are pieced together with several connecting pipes and wondered about the quality. I wish Termignoni would build a set to match the stock looks....they do this for the newer R1's. Jeff

New Akras

I asked the bloke on the KTM stand at the NEC that very question. He said he'd check and get back to me after the show. Guess what, still waiting.... Mitch

KTM at NEC

Funny you should say that. I was at the show and was a wee bit disappointed with the KTM stand. Only one SD in the New for '06 Titanium/graphite colours. Thought they might have had the "Racing Carbon L/E version. Hmmph! I had enquired about any plans on a carbon single seat cowl. Only to share with him looking through the '05 catalogue. Even after saying that I knew there wasn't one in there! Anyone got the Carbon tank yet? I've been waiting 3 months!

Latest...

Right, ordered them. Should be fitted next Thursday - they are in stock at KTMs UK distributor, apparently. The lovely gal who works in my local bike shop said that the evo cans are gonna be a bit of a limited edition to begin with....

Even more latest....

The word is that, although the system is 'in stock', KTM have not yet sorted out a map for it. That is exactly what my dealer said this morning. They say it'll now be sometime in April. I am not gonna hold my breath, anytime before the end of summer would be good.
