Latest again

Got a phone call from my dealer. The 'evolution' system is in the shop and KTM have confirmed the new map for the system. Hoping they've got it right first time. Getting them fitted on Tuesday, will report as and when.

Job Done

Took ages to fit the buggers. Got the bike back at 4ish after taking it in in the morning. The baffles are still in right now - apparently something or other is invalidated if you remove 'em. Not that fussed about the noize, its the power I'm after. And I can confirm that it feels like a new bike. No more 'stutter' of the FI, even more wheelie-prone, looks grrrreat(pix to come tomorra) and all round it just feels more alive. Dunno how they compare to the slip-ons but I am more than satisfied. More as and when.

Loads to tell. The Mech at the shop got me back in to fit a new bracket - he hadn't had the instructions to sort it. Next day he calls again and sez that I've gotta get back in pronto coz the ECU is throwing out the new map on another SD he was fitting the system to and he needed to check it was not the same on mine. It had, so he sorted it and threw in a Dyno Run for free. It did 120bhp and 122.4bhp on the roll-on test. Not too bad then.
