people survey?

Probably says as much about the MCN readership as it does about the bikes.

You must have forgotten this.

Check out the TSS500 on the two stroke shop website.

A 485cc 110bhp parallel twin two stroke based on an RD350 bottom end - slipped into an Aprilia RS250 rolling chassis.

Surely the best parallel twin ever put into production?

I think so and that's why I'm building one.

ahem... there is a mistake

The CB500 is a fine motorcycle and should be way higher than 7th. Not happy. It should be better than no. 1. At least it gets a mention after al these years.

cb500 should be higher.

only the change in eu emissions laws stopped production.it ran forever and gave a good top end.

SHOCK HORROR!

I actually agree with this list (mostly, CB500 should be about 4th, versys should be 2nd and BMW F800GS should be No1), it seems out of the 1000's of MCN readers only the parallel twin ones have much sense when it comes to judging bikes!

F650?

Perhaps best to omit the single cylinder engines from this survey...
