Busa Leccies

Hello people, hoping somebody can help. Mate has a Busa and we are trying to sort a leccie problem. Bike is a 99 model fitted with a veto and heated grips. Both Veto and grips work properly. Problem: Lights set to "sidelight" and all is fine, move the switch up a notch to dipped headlight and the rear light and facia lights go out. The head light comes on but all else goes out, switch it back and normal service is resumed. Switching it to full beam has the same effect. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Light fun

Hi, did the problem start immediately after the alarm & heated grips were fitted? If yes then that`s probably where the fault lies. If not then it probably lies in the right hand handlebar switch gear. To check this out turn the lighting switch to the sidelight position. Confirm everything is working as it should, then operate the headlight flasher switch on the left hand handlebar. Do all the lights still work whilst this is done? If yes then your problem is most likely in the lighting switch, probably a bad connection. If no, then your problem is deeper in the wiring & you`ve got a fiddly weekend job in store checking through the wiring! Best of luck.
