neeves's vid

as ally says watch neeves's video.

there is also alot of california superbike school videos on utube. i haven't seen one about KD but lot's about body positioning and cornering, these might help.

i found my knee got alot closer by weighting the outside peg in a bend.

there is no actual offence of getting you KD but you may find yourself being reported for not being in proper control so be very careful where and when u practice it.

Make sure you are not twisting your body whilst getting your knee out. Slide your arse cheek off at 90 degrees to the bike and put the knee out. Dont twist, as it brings the knee forward and in..

My advice...for what its worth (not alot!)

Its mostly about body positioning.
Neevseys video explains this very well, but for myself, its 4 key points.
- Move your whole body over the bike (arse crack on the edge of the seat)
- Head over by the mirror and drop your right shoulder (makes it easier to put your head over)
- Balls of your feet on the pegs and stick your knee out as far as you can
- Get into a comfortable gear, 3rd is good, so the power isnt snatchy.

I learnt most of this at Ron Haslem, body positioning is THE biggest hurdle for sure.

Ironic that in fact, if you do it properly, you are more in control as the bike is more upright, you are more relaxed and the bike goes where you want it to much easier.
