Compare that to how HRC made Rossi wait until the new year to get on the Yamaha in 2004. AT least CS gets an addtional few weeks to complain about the RCV212.

Sporting

That's very sporting of Ducati but perhaps a bit too sporting. The Japanese factoreis would be highly unlikely to give a rider they just lost some free development time so I hope this doesn't come back to bite them!

I couldnt agree more. Didnt Honda make Valentino wait till the new year before letting him 'officially' swing a leg over the M1.

Although why as a rider you would have contract that finishes on 31/12 i dont know. Sure if your world champion they want to parade you around. So give em 3 weeks then be on your way... Still for that much money they could alot of things to me with out complaint...

Seems to me

that ducati aren't to worried about Stoners skillset and input into the honda, unless of course they've charted where Caseywon the championsip to now and hope that Casey can take the honda back a couple of steps, after all the duke has gone frombeing totally dominant, to a total dog, not adirect translationfrom australian but it's near as damn it....

release

it would be wise for ducati to let him go early if rossi doesnt workout with the team and casey with the honda then the door would be wide open for casey to return.if vale carnt get results on the thing then who else could ducati turn too.
