As im entering my 65 th year I now need a bike that suits my age, gone are the days of leaning over the tank, aching wrists and aching neck, any suggestions , with just 4000 quid in my pocket and a mint 1995 Ducati 600ss with 4500 miles on the clock to part ex

As a 45 year old the only time I get looked at by bright young things is on the bike:-)
To try and answer your question though along with the crop of 600s like the Bandits, Fazers, CBF600s, Ducati Monsters? etc I like the BMW R1200R, GS, & the Yamaha FJR1300. Most of these are practical for me to get both feet down too.
However as a Ducati bloke a monster might be good (or a Moto Guzzi Breva 1100).
