flat spot

Hi all, wonder if anyone has any ideas about this. Have a Triumph sppedmaster, both my dealer and Triumph are at a loss on this problem. When warm, occasionally, just when I start to rev I hit a flat spot, like it didn't fire, or there was no fuel for a split second. On a trip of about 4 miles it will happen maybe once or twice. The local dealer even gave it to one of their engineers to take home to see if he could experience it, but didn't happen for him.. a very frustrating problem, as this has happened since the bike was new, now only 7 months warranty left, heeeelpp.....
