Appaling marshals

i Hope Scott is ok as the lad had no place to go

its sad for Shoya Tomizawa's famaly

but that was the worst action by marshals since Kato was slung on a stretcher like a peice of meat

it was appaling and how much did that appaling action contribute to his injurys

the F I A MUST investigate this

R.I.P Tomi

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

Once again another talent taken away far too young!

And as others has said, questions need to be answered in the way the marshalls treated those involved, it should have immediatley been red flagged. The whole incident was treated so poorly, and who knows, the way the marshalls treated Tomi could have resulted in his injuries becoming worse resulting in his death.

I just hope there will be a full and in depth investigation.

Get well soon Scott.

i think dorna and gp's has had its day Where was the red flag  they dont care about anything apart from being better than world superbikes and making a big fat payday its sutch a shame when u see riders being treated like that just to keep the show going hang your heads in shame dorna it was a disgrace all the best to family's of the riders in the accident .

Red Flag ?

Why no red flags and the riders just thrown onto the stretchers begs an enquiry at least, as Julian Rider commented "I thought that behaviour had stopped years ago" {as best I can remember} RIP Tomizawa I hope Scott is OK

Dorna

I read on another article "The official news of his death had not filtered through before the start of the MotoGP race, so the event went ahead." Under FIA regulations any death at an event results in immediate cancellation. Without getting into a conspiracy theory, it is feesible that the powers that be knew before the face began.. Nonetheless, today was a very sad day for all lovers of the sport. RIP Shoya.

corporate manslaughter?

For sure I think Carmelo Ezpeleta needs to be answering  a few questions as for sure the way this all incident was handled could well be a case of corporate manslaughter as I am sure most people like myself who have been associated with racing know very well that safety and other procedures must be top notch and in this case we have Marshalls who seem to have no idea what they are doing and Race control not stopping the race.

According to Reuters, Shoya was declared dead at 14.20 local time, 20 minutes after the Moto GP race started. Whilst emotions are running very high on this sad day, might I respectfully suggest we should be more concerned that the marshall's actions at the scene of the accident should be thoroughly investigated, and that Alex de Angelis and Scott Redding are being cared for. My view is that stopping the Moto GP race would have served no purpose.

I would also like to protest to the administrators of the Eurosport Yahoo website for not doing anything like enough to deal with the hideous, offensive and tasteless comments being posted by some on their forum.
