what happens to old bikers?

just go me thinking, "when do you stop, and when it's all over, then what??"

I'd like to think once the kids grow up(and I can trust 'em in my house for 2 weeks), I'll be off down to the south of France and Italy on me "ZZR / GTR"..BUT looking around, not too many oldies out there on two wheels. I mean what happens?....I know  a few who have bought kitcars, Caterhams and Westfeilds, but whats the oldest biker you know??

Older bikers

They buy BMWs. Can't ride sports bikes because they are too hard on the knees.

I know a biker who is well over 70 (years, not MPH)

My mate's dad

must be in his mid 70s at the least,  and he took up biking again after getting enthused at seeing my first couple of bikes.  He goes tearing around the place on a decent Norton now, age hasn't slowed him up any.

That's a heartwarming tale, BEZANT:

I certainly hope to be that enthusiastic when I'm that age too.  But are you sure he was in his 80's?   He might actually have been in his 40's... riding some of those crappy Chinese bikes can sure take it out of a guy...
