Honda X11

Had my X11 for over 6 months now and she still amazes me with the torque she has, and I don't even push it that hard.

I know it's early days, but I cant see what else I'd want in a bike that the X11 can't deliver.

Bit rough on fuel though.

Aprilia and mpg

32mpg, thats cr@p. I have to seriously check that out.

If thats the case, the X-11 and me, may have to never meet LOL..

The Aprilia is as ugly as it comes IMHO.. no joke. Not my cuppa no way.

Also look at those rear pegs, if you want a to take a bird with you for a bunk up, she better have the proportions of a hamster. Not my cuppa either LOL.

OK, so the Tuono's not ugly, but thats a one man machine. 

Heres part of the problem for me.

When you have a modern superbike, or modern-ish superbike, the high output dictates a loss of torque, this has been moved to the top end to produce eye watering bhp.

OK, so having been a recent R1 owner this kind off amuses me. Who wouldn't it right? 
But it is dangerous and useless on the road. Superbikes seem to me to have a dubious usage on the roads. 

The power has been tuned to a place, that when you access creates incredible speed. It was noted several times that just feeling the power in second on the R1 on the local bypass may get me three months inside. 

Whereas with a muscle bike of some kind, you can open it up between 30 and 60 in second gear and really feel the thing move.

Not enough space on the back. Mrs is only a size 12 but gotta give her some comfort, I understand they do massive torque, but .. two pots? 

X-11 for me. I've decided. Just love the way they look. Get a really really nice one, with super duper Honda build quality, wack a power commander and open up the headers into some slip on cans and get over 140 bhp at the wheel with all the 115Nm of torque still there.. that'll do me.
