Full power Triumph Scrambler.

How can I get the full BHP from the Bonneville 865 engine fitted into my Scrambler? It is about 20 BHP down but as it is the same engine, how hard would it be to regain? Cheers,Bladesman.

Same engine?

Almost, but the scrambler runs a 270 degree crank and not a 360 as per the rest of the bonneville engines. However the maximum torque kicks in around 1000rpm lower, hence a better midrange.
