Husqvarna unveiled the mad Mille 3 concept bike at the Milan show today - a V3 triple cruiser/sportsbike cross built to show off Husqvarna's designing talent. The peculiar machine isn't designed for production - the 933cc engine in the Mille 3 uses three cylinders from the firm's single-cylinder off-road range arranged on a common crankcase. WTF is it?

Did they hire mentally challenged designers because they were less expensive or because they were fun to watch?

My Eyes Have Been Burned

How does getting a big fat lad (or any American) to bounce around on a bike until the suspension is flat out knackered count as design? What were Husky doing here? Entering a competition for Shit Design of the Year Award? If so then I'd say they've achieved magnificently. However if that ghastly mutant abomination is meant to be some sort of heads up for a new direction the company are taking, then it's fair to say they are doomed. It has all the visual appeal of Harriet Harmon (who looks like she should be hanging on the end of a fishing rod).

blimey that looks like a speedway bike tho not sure you'd need that much engine! Maybe Husqvarna want to make a dirt tracker and fancy outdoing the Roberts Yamaha TZ750 engined one.
