One of the conditions of Rossi’s early release from his Yamaha contract was that he wouldn’t speak to the media after his GP11 debut in Valencia next Tuesday and Wednesday. Rossi was given permission to test for...

He is fortunate Yahama allowed him to be released from his contract early, otherwise he would have missed out on testing the bike at Valencia.  At least he know's where he stands, which is good for Ducati and Yahama.

Ducati testing

I don't think you'll see Rossi putting in any amazing times, i reckon he will use his head and gather data from the test for the engineers to work with ready for the Sepang test in Feb.

There will be nothing to be gained for them by him setting super quick times.

He's said it all already about the Duke

'Perhaps a bit faster but a bit more nervous and aggressive but also with good power.' As he and us have observed over the years. Nothing new there.

Lap times

Seeing the lap times for Stoner and Rossi from the test on monday and tuesday will be more interesting than the race itself.

Its those that speak volumes, not the pontificatioon from the pilots themselves.

VR awesome rider but maybe GP10 is an unwieldy beast that Hayden cannot push hard or Stoner cannot ride to 100% of his ability without spitting him off from no feedback, VR revels in a bike that communicates. IMHO
