First off, consider BAR MUFFS. You can even get heated muffs these days.

After that, consider heated grips.

If you really don't want to fit warm, toasty, warm, heated, toasty warm kit, then you could also consider off road bike style "Bark Busters". These will help to block the wind.

I gave in and fitted heated grips over 5 years ago. I will ALWAYS fit them to every bike I have.

Suffered the same problem so invested in some Gerbing heated gloves. Excellent product and in slow traffic have to turn them off as your hands (front and back) are too hot. Runs off a fused cable from the battery and well worth the money. Been using them for 6 weeks so far and can thoroughly recommend them and warm all on your hands and thumbs unlike heated grips.:smile You can also buy a thermostat controller if you want to but for now making do with the on/off switch

There's nothing nicer than slipping into a nice warm muff.
