Top 10

Wouldn't want a new bike anyway. They all look to weird for my liking. Bring back the days when bikes were made of that metallic stuff, what was it called again.....oh yea.. metal.

Jonny...

they aren't new for the most part...they're BMW tourers and pans.Even the fireblade as dropped a fair way down.Ah well it makes for interesting reading, but nothing to fret about. Most bikes get decent % marks..so no old nails being produced.:smile

post 2000

Bike design after 2000 starts to deteriorate in my opinion. Guess I am showing my age when bitching about modern  machinery. Things started to get a bit too plasticy in the last decade and appears to be getting worse as every year passes. Yes we have had plastic fairings and panels since the eighties , maybe its my imagination but bikes don't seem to have that solid build look anymore.

Thats quite a nice bit of kit there. Didn't know Kawasaki had it in them.

Do you get the ball grabbing bird with the bike or do you have to supply your own.:smile

Maybe its just the plastic getting thinner then. I have noticed that with the more modern stuff , if you give the plastic a good waggle if seems really flimbsy and cheap. I noticed on the new faired Bandit the stupid cubby hole lids on the fairing were so feeble I couldn't see them lasting five minutes without snapping off.

On my Tiger 955 the fairing was quite sturdy compared to that of the 1050 which wobbled and creaked a good un.

some oldish bikes in there

well jonny makes you feel any better the old zzr1100 came in 66

cbr900 1996-1999 came 69
rf900 1995-99 came 27
vfr750 1986-97 came 93
so good few oldish bikes in there as well  and the old pan made it to 9th place while the new one was 11th so a few surprises rather than all new bikes at top
and a good few oldish bikes in top 100 so liked that.

lol how oldish what bike you running?
