Complete waste of money

I don't get it, bikes when driving like maniacs are mostly a danger to themselves, so what is the big deal?

Cars kill thousands each and every year and yet very little is done to address the problem, bikes on the other hand if they kill someone it makes a huge news story which will be plastered all over the tv and everywhere.

My point is we need some perspective on this whole issue of bike safety, We know what we are getting into when we get on a bike so it is our choice we really don't need saving from ourselves.

Waste of public money.
