Bradley Smith satisfied with Moto2 progress

Atrocious weather conditions might have severely disrupted this week’s three-day Moto2 test in Estoril, but British rider Bradley Smith was still happy with progress made in the limited track time available. The Tech 3 Racing rider escaped injury following a big crash on the second day of a test dominated by heavy rain and strong winds. The 20-year-old, who will partner former...

These winter tests mean nothing- he is a talented rider and will simply be easing his way into riding a bigger four stroke after racing little 125s, without pushing too fast too soon on cold wet tracks.

I'm sure Bradley will do well in 2011.

what the..??

Welcome on board anony mouse...??...whats all that about..??

Isay redding is a better rider....and always will be...he has more fighting spirit...

bradders did well in the 125's but he seems to be staying at a level..where as scott is getting better

And i think toseland is a great rider...who just never cut it in motogp...

People who undermined him i think were a little dissapointed...we all HOPED he was gonna be thenext big thing...p.s theres always cal to undermine too....

Absolutely nothing can be read into Estoril

Three day washout, with only patchy conditions on the final day. A real shame for Smith as he's one of those slow builders who needs a lot of track time - particularly with a change up in class.

Foggy apart

is there anybody we have produced anywhere near an alien type.

We might be on the verge of finding out, young Scott Redding. Just hope he does not get on a 1000 next year that is undeveloped and it slings him 60 feet in th air all the time. I think this because, chassis manufacturers will have no idea how to build a bike around the Bridgstones.

Toselands manager would be the only one I can think of. For some reason he never kicked arse, but he was definately special.

Niall who?

I think brad may struggle this year not due to a lack of talent but due to the fact that the tech3 bike wasn't very good last year. de meglio is faster but he's had a year in moto2 already bardley will close the gap with more time on the bike.

Everyone seems to forget Niall Mckenzie when talking about brits in GP racing. If being i the top five is alien then surely he would qualify. a great rider whose only drawback was being a brit.

Foggy never raced properly in GP and I respect his decision not to enter on inferior machinery but srely therefore could not be considered an Alien.

Bradley Smith

is the most succesful British rider in GP since Sheene this is not IMO this is a fact.

I also don't think he's the most talented rider since Sheene but it's not only about talent it's about machinery and dedication.

I think Brad will do well in Moto GP I just hope the vultures that are cricling allow him time to settle into the class. He has had one dry test one wet test and no races  yetpeople are still queueing up to sayhow poor he is.

Redding did not exactly set the world alight in the first half of the last moto2 season(and he didn't have the disadvantage of riding against people witha full seasons experience.)

I don't think its brad putitng the most succesful spin on thingd I think it's MCN therefore it's not bards fault the same as it's not Scotts fault that he is always being billed as a title fvaourite despite having only tow podiums and no wins. How long will it be before everyone starts rubbishing him if he doesn't lve up to their expectations and deliver the title?

Brad has had two very good seasons in 125 gp he was the only non spaniard to win a race in that class last year and was beaten by a cicus midget who probably wieghs less than my leathers so give the guy a break.

Come on Brad, Scott and Kev hope to see you all at the sharp end good luck lads.
