Phillip Island WSB: Checa does the double

Carlos Checa rounded off a perfect weekend at Phillip Island with victory in race two to take home a maximum of 50 points and the World championship lead. Nobody was able to keep pace with Checa once he took the lead a few laps in, and he soon pulled away from the chasing pack. Max Biaggi again finished second, after a long...

Race Two.

Was great to watch the battle for second place shame sad about Eugene though without the mistake he would have been challenging for the podium can't wait for the return of Donington I am excited as ever.

Where was Toseland, I thought he was going to win both races and get closer to Fogartys record?

Wow Biaggi will be champ again, this sucks. As a nori fan i hate Biaggi for obvious reasons. Checa ruled on the Island but will also score some DNF s wich Max will not. 600 race was great to see I am officialy Sam Lowes fan now. Some cool moves, the R6 was just to fast on the straight. Haslam was very good on the beemer

Great result for Checca, no one could keep up with him. Haslam also got off to a good start for BMW.

Pure entertainment

Moto gp is going to have to be really good this year, even with two average races, wsbk can beat moto gp hands down for entertainment value.

Wobbly national anthems?

I think the Aussies need to ditch the dodgy vinyl and wind up record player.  Barnacle and Whitham will need a restraining order at Donny, if they bump into Marco missus.
