Honda CBR600F first ride preview

MCN’s Chief Road Tester Trevor Franklin has just arrived in Seville, Spain for the launch of Honda’s eagerly-anticipated new CBR600F. The new Honda middleweight not only revives the legendary CBR600F name, which was a UK best-seller, ruling the middleweight roost throughout the ‘90s, it looks set to deliver an equally attractive ‘real world’ blend of road sports performance, easy manners, practicality...

Trevor's in Spain again. Neevesey is probably somewhere warm testing bikes too. Just how do you get a job like that?

Hope you get sunburn Trev and don't say it seems like a Hornet with a fairing :)

Still not convinced

No doubt this will be a great bike and has it's place in the market. But at the end of the day it is just a hornet with slightly more protection from the elements...why not save £500 (and 40 kg for that matter) and get a street triple with a screen. If you want the supersports look then yes it goes half way there and it sounds like it'll be pretty comfortable, but for everything else the street triple is more superior, better performing, cheaper, british, sexier, louder, bolder.....

Lewi the Street is not going to give you the protection.Triumph should be doing something similer as this is what i wanted on the Street. That would be the perfect bike.
