Anyone know if there has been a recall in the UK yet as there's nothing on VOSA's website...

no surprise there

good on Suzuki for admitting a fault with rectifiers wish the other company's would do the bloody same know 4 people with zzr1400 all had to replace the rectifier  and a few cbr's all not really old bikes seems an extremely common problem

Mine's is on the list too,

although I haven't checked the numbers, but there was a topic about it on the GSXF forum which is how I came across it and just wondered if anyone had heard about it on here.

If you have any feedback from Suzuki can you let me know?

Cheers

electrics on a Suzuki

I recall the electrics pages on my old Suzuki GS650 manual. Couldn't see half the diagram for dirty fingerprints. Only thing that ever went wrong on that bike was the blessed electrics.

However not necessarily Suzuki's fault, previous owner had modified the wiring lom using only RED wire. Tracing faults was a nightmare.Loved that bike

Update....

I had a very nice phone call earlier today off a guy from Suzuki UK who informed me that the rectifier problem has only affected the American market therefore there is no likelehood of a recall in the UK, but if they (Suzuki)  do decide to recall bikes sold in the UK then any repairs will be free of charge....:smile
