MCN Donington WSB: Biaggi fined 3000 Euros for Melandri slap

Max Biaggi was fined 3000 euro for an altercation in pit lane after Superpole 3 which resulted in the World Champion slapping Marco Melandri. Go Marco.

Stuff him in the race hopefully he never finishes on the podium in the two races second time he has been involved in a bad thing at Donington last one being in 2009 in race two when he nearly cost another rider his race.

Bet the Italians in Marco's garage will have been pissed off bad style Biaggi never support that guy one of the best riders IN WSBK I agree with that but he can sometimes make a bad name for himself as seen on the video.

Never change

I was starting to warm to biaggi after last year, from what i had seen and read of him. He seemed relaxed and a better person than when he was in GP's, now he's champion he seems to have gone back to being the trumped up prima donna that he used to be. Shame, cos it detracts from what a great rider he really is.

Tut tut Max all your face slapping has done is show you up as the unsporting knob you really are. All the back slapping and well done comments of the past couple of years is shown up for the sham it was. Great rider yes. Miserable prat oh yes.

Professional foul

Biaggi's well known for this kind of thing. He's been doing it all his career, and he'll keep on doing it because the powers-that-be aren't prepared to deal with it. If riders knew that there was the potential for something like a 30 second penalty or an enforced ride-through to be imposed on them during the race, maybe they'd disrespect their fellow riders a little less.
