i have a 2001 r6 and i want to change the exhaust mainly for a nicer sound any suggestions what one to go for and will i need any extra work done ie re- jetting etc.

Your bike is a carb model so fitting a after market end can that isn't to race orientated shouldn't cause any problems.Give Martin a ring at M.T.C. for any info you need and check out his hand made end cans on his site.

Iv had a few exhausts over my time and MTC are great ! i have also had beowolf which i liked also mainly the warrior. but as for value and looks MTC have a much larger range :) good luck buddy !
