Catalunya

I have been for the last 2 years, not this year as I'm too skint! Gutted!!

I usually stay in Calella, just up the coast a bit. Most of the hotels are pretty cheap and pretty good. You will be looking at a 45 minute drive (minimum) and around 3 hours to get home on race day, but it is soooooo worth it.

Have you been to the curcuit before???

tickets

I bought mine through motogp.com but they don't tell you where you are sitting, even when you get reserved grandstand. Later found out that the actual website of the circuit sells them by the seat number so I will go through them next time.

www.circuitcat.com

Get your tickets from the circuits website www.circuitcat.com
Its easy to navigate your way to buying tickets, in English. You can pick your seat.
Dont be put off by the €300 ticket price when you click on MotoGP tickets, they've mucked it up and those are the F1 prices. MotoGP is €100 for grandstand H. When you select your seat the correct price comes up. Its a good view from there. Theres a map of the circuit too. Theres not too many tickets left in H. Anywhere in the last 1/3rd of the circuit in that loop, or the end of the s/f straight at turn 1 would be good.
You can get the train out to Montmelo from Saintes station in Barcelona.
