What a p.r. disaster Stoner is. Rossi screws up and dumps both of them. Stoner has everyone's sympathy then he comes out with that crap. S**t happens and in that race it happened to most of them. Grow up and get over it.

Good family entertainment

That's racing. Stoner took it well though when VR when to say 'sorry'. Noticed he kept this crash helmet on just in case Stoner tried to land a punch!

No one was more gutted than me when vale went down cos it was turning into a cracking race but the marshall's went to vale first as he was trapped under the bike, and to tell a 9 times world champ your ambition outway's your talent, good grief get on with casey. But let's hope there's more wet weather if this is what we can expect.............

Marshalls...

It looked to me as though they thought Casey was good to go... He already had the bike up while they were lifting Rossi's - I thought Casey had his bike still running and it looked like the Marshalls did too, when they realised it wasnt they all went to help him out... They were acting in the heat of the moment and got it wrong in the eyes of Stoner and his fans....

Caseys Coment

Tottally agree with him about the marshelling, they practicaly ignored him & it was'nt as if they did'nt have enough marshells was it.How many marshells were pushing Rossi's bike to get it restarted ? As for Caseys coment on Rossi ! No coment. Some very good advice for an extremely talented rider - Bit your lip & always remember - SMILE & WAVE BOYS,JUST SMILE & WAVE.

P.S. Rossi is very good with PR

great exchange

Stoner was livid with Rossi who, let's not forget, took a lunge at him from way back which was never on.

On reflection, Stoner may wish he had just taken the handshake and smiled.  That said, one of the things I like about CS is that he is anything but a media tart, just a pure bike racer.

Returing to Rossi, the wider issue for the latter is it's another weekend to forget.

Second time he has been outqualified by a privateer Ducati (how much fast his factory one must be capable of going is impossible to asset with certainty, but RDP on a Pramac would suggest quite a lot faster..).

Indeed, throughout practice, the gap in pace to the Hondas increased rather than narrowed.

The lunge on Stoner just looked a desparate attempt to bag a podium in the poor conditions.

I don't think the marshals helping Rossi should have anything to do with it. Their job is to get the bikes upright asap to get them safe whether the rider can continue or for the bike to be safely wheeled away if possible, (as someone else said on another site they are not their to help the riders in the race). Casey had his bike upright and was trying to push across Rossi to get off first(which anyone would do) however Rossi's bike was still on it's side and Rossi had been dragged across the ground under the two bikes, in that situation it makes perfect sense to get to Rossi asap before anything else, The fact that Rossi kept his bike running( and therefore didn't need a push start(something that the marshalls are not there to give) and Casey did not and couldn't jump start it is a separate incident altogether, and just bad luck.. Caseys reaction was the reaction of a small child nothing more.. He has the maturity and mental strength of a hamster, does he not realise how he degraded himself in front of the watching public.. I suspect the entire paddock were pissing themslevs at his outburst, even BBCs door mouse who sucks Caseys balls was laughing..
