bridgestone BT023 tyre mark

I have about 400 miles on the Battlax 023R on the front wheel of my 2005 cbf600 n and have noticed a strange line just left of center that runs the circumfrence of the tyre. Has anyone else seen this? Is it a concern?

BT023's

Got the same tyres fitted to both my FZS100 and VFR800 but do not have the line shown in your photo.  Taken them back to the fitter.

believe it

or not it is a static earthing line. Have a look on their website. It will be there all the way through the tyre wear.

many thanks for all your help, now feel 100% happy with this tyre.
have now done a few 100 miles more and have to say that this tyre is really good, it has excellent grip even  under hard braking and fast cornering plus excellent feel from the front, recommended
