Rossi/Stoner Jerez inquiry not a blame game

An inquiry into the immediate aftermath of the controversial recent Jerez MotoGP crash involving Valentino Rossi and Casey Stoner will not be a blame game or witch hunt against marshals caught up in the incident. Stoner was incensed that he was not given the same level of assistance to rejoin the 27-lap race as Rossi was after the pair tangled on...

Regardless of all this bollocks, we seem to be overlooking a clear infringement of the rules by both Rossi and Stoner. Both bikes are supposed to have tilt switches that cut the bike out when if falls over. Rossi bike was still running, and Stoner turned his off manually. So both Honda and Ducati don't have this, a supposed requirement.

Nobody seems to be mentioning that...?

If we are not carefull we might turn this sport into a football prima dona thing where rather than shrug it off as a racing incident ( neither had anything to gain by hitting the deck) or it will go f1 and be deciding it in the courts.

WATCHING

from the comfort of my arm chair i thought, the marshalls were helping rossi first because he was under the bike as they ran to aid BOTH riders but upon arriving casey was back on his bike and i thought his bike was still runnning (did they) if you watch it again you see 2 marshalls turn back from casey and head for rossi to push him off, I didn't think there was any favouritism involved just panic in the heat of a racing incident.

Watched it again on Eurosport. Rossi was under both bikes, Stoner lifted his bike off Rossi's. Neither bike was near the gravel. So why did Stoner turn his engine off? Plus, if you voluntarily turn your engine off doesn't that mean you've retired? When Stoner then shouted for assistance, 4 or 5 marshals ran to him and started to push him, uphill at that, and on the racing line. Stoners bike didn't start so the marshals went back to their posts.

Rossi did make a mistake but he was on a run and it got away from him, hasn't anyone watched racing before mistakes are made quite often it's a racing incident sure stoner paid the price for the mistake but thats just it a mistake if he could of passed without crashing i'm sure he would have the marshalls did what they thought was right at the time and that's it enquiry done so no money needs to be wasted here cheaper tickets for silverstone then

Hey guys forget the racing, get some bargains!!!

$30 Nike Shox, $35 handbags and $16 jeans - WOW.

You know, when I come on here to rock the boat and generally give my mis-informed views on MotoGP while constantly arse licking my hero Rossi, I never knew I'd be able to buy so much shit.

There's FREE SHIPPING too. AND some crazy stars in the font that I don't know how to do and it pi$$es me right off.

Oh, regards the racing I can see why Rossi stated he wouldn't work alongisde Livio 'Honda' Suppo...the guys a full on hippo anus.
