Tom Sykes fastest at Brands Hatch BSB test

WSB star Tom Sykes was the quickest rider during the Brands BSB test yesterday (Tuesday). The Kawasaki factory rider was having a run-out to try some different settings ahead of this weekend’s Assen World round and set a best time of 45.6 – just 0.1 slower than Ryuichi Kiyonari’s pole time of last year and only 0.2s off the outright lap...

Looks like another exiting BSB with so many riders capable of being up the sharp end. Can't wait especially as I'm doing crap in fantasy league. :-)

Early signs are very good for Gary Mason. Half a second quicker than last year already? Thats light years round the Indy circuit.

Hopkins

As I've said before Hopkins is the danger man and will probably do a Gregorio Lavilla and win the championship first time out. I would suggest that the 2 HM Plant Boys together with Tommy Hill will be the strongest challengers to him. Prediction for the championship Hopkins, Byrne, Hill, Kiyo (in that order)

Lap times?

A 46 second lap time is a bit of a joke. Clearly not a circuit for a superbike.

brands indy

agree with falco the short track at brands is little more than a go cart track for superbikes now. pity after going on to the long track say a cut right could be made say 3  to 400 yards to join the new circuit  at stirlings   just something that came into my head when walking round the whole track.another thought dig the ground up in south bank and have the pits in there along the bottom straight then the whole view of the indy circuit is not restricted by the pits in the middle.
