Convertibars...anyone tried them/has them?

I am new to 'sporsbikes' well....to the riding position...

I have this new little CBR250R and although the riding position is not as extreme as on other sportsbikes, it is giving me pain in my cervical spine area after only 20 minutes in the ride!

I have 'sussed out' things to make it better but I can't eliminate the problem!
If I ride keeping my arms straight and my back straight and my head pointing more downwards keeping my spine as straight as possible I alleviate the problem a bit but I can't eliminate it!!!

I can't carry on like this!:ph43r:

I NEED handle bar risers!!

I don't use the bike for fun nor for track days, I only bought it because I HAD to, not out of choice, if I had a choice I would have stayed on 1000cc+ bike, I had a pan european before.

For financial reasons I had to downsize, needed something cheaper to run and to maintain/insure but did not want anything too small engine size.  This bike only needs a service every 8,000 miles!

Anyway, the thread is not about my choice of bike so sorry to derail like that!

Having looked at handlebar risers I am really interested in these:
american invention sold at Motohaus too:

they are a 'tad' expensive but they seem really good, you can change their setting really easily too if you wanted to as well.  They are fully customisable so you can make sure they really fit the person and the way 'they ride'.

I'd rather pay more but make sure I am 'really' comfortable as then I can adjust the bike to what 'I really need'.

Anyone has experience of them or knows of anyone who has?

Just curious....

Drill the top yoke, bang on some universal risers for about £20 and stick some renthals on it
